In the beautiful fortified town of Willemstad, near the historic port, this striking mill stands in excellent condition, and it was built in 1734 commissioned by the Nassau Estate Council. D'Orangemolen offers high quality finished living spaces where close attention has been paid to the preservation of authentic details.

The mill has been well maintained over the years and offers lots of privacy in the fully enclosed garden, consisting of a charming courtyard with veranda, a lovely side garden and a terrace. The plot is partly enclosed by fences, in part by a boxwood hedge. On the south side the garden is bordering the city wall with a trail to the inner harbor. Parking is on site.

LAYOUT GROUND FLOOR:
Entrance, hallway with many old unique details, toilet with wall closet and access to large beautiful luxury kitchen with appliances and stove. From the kitchen you have a beautiful view over the harbor. Attractive, very bright lounge (eight meters in diameter, more than four meters high) at the foot of the mill with attractive open fireplace, exposed beams and elegant oak staircase leading to the first floor. The lounge also provides access to the 'master room' that provides access to the wine room/cellar. Two folded arched garden doors give access to the enclosed private garden.

FIRST FLOOR:
Through the authentic staircase the landing can be reached, giving access to the master bedroom with bathroom with shower, sauna and toilet. The hallway also provides access to the second and third bedroom and second bathroom with bath, sink and toilet and wooden stairs to the second floor.

SECOND FLOOR:
On the second floor you can find the miller's room with access to the deck and the next floors with the grinding floor, stone floor and the attic.

WILLEMSTAD:
Willemstad is a fortified town with a historic inner harbor which is surrounded by historic buildings (the Mauritshuis and Arsenaal), cozy cafes and excellent restaurants. The picturesque village is perfect for a nice (summer) day out. Willemstad is easily accessible from Rotterdam, Breda and Antwerp, partly due to its favorable location along the A29 and A58 highways.
