Ibiza Family house on Jan Sofat Curacao

Located in the gated resort of Jan Sofat, on a windy hill and in a quiet ”cul de sac" street, you find this cozy two story family home with a fantastic pool area and outside palapas to make your tropical living experience complete. The house has a light and modern atmosphere.

Jan Sofat is a gated community located on the east side of Curacao, close to the Spanish Water and the Jan Thiel area where you have quick access to all facilities. The Caribbean ocean, marina, restaurants, supermarkets, gym, shops, it is all at close distance.

The main house, at ground floor level, has an concrete and wood open plan kitchen with a dining room, opening up to a large covered terrace with a lounge bed where you can relax or entertain in the shade and breeze. On this level you also find 2 double bedrooms with a shared bathroom _also with concrete sink- and a laundry room (with can be easily transformed into a guest bathroom). A nice staircase lead you to the master bedroom with it’s ensuite bathroom in the same style as the one downstairs. 

Outside, near the pool, in front of the kitchen, is a palapa large enough for dining outside. A second palapa with a lounge bed is in a higher position on the other side of the pool. The pool is 15 meter long and 3 meter deep for half  its length. The apartment, on the other side of the house, completely private and with a separate entrance consists of one bedroom, one bathroom, a kitchen and a large covered terrace for shade. All bedrooms, including the apartment have inverter aiconditioning. The windows and doors are all in wood, with double glass and protection shutters.

On the terrain is space to park two big cars. The mature, tropical garden has large coco palm trees, fruit trees such as papaya, mango and other lushious plants with flowers. There is a deep well with an irrigation system that can also be used to fill the pool. 220 V and 110 V is available throughout the house.
