The Domaine de Golf de Bigorre, set in 56 hectares of glorious mountain scenery, is a profitable and well-established golf club, hotel and restaurant/bar, custom-built between 2005-8.
All the construction and development to date has been carried out by the current owners. It has been done with considerable respect for the surrounding environment. The design of the buildings blends sympathetically and aesthetically with both the golf course landscape and the mountain scenery. Green watering is 90% self-sufficient via a man made reservoir and rainwater collection system including a pump house. Wildflower rewilding has been nurtured in several locations and energy efficiency optimised with photovoltaic panels.
The Clubhouse Pic and Putt restaurant serves local “produits du terroir” cuisine and fine regional wines. Catering services are provided for weddings and other events.

THE REGION
BAGNERES DE BIGORRE is a popular spa and ski town with a strong tourist clientele. Along with thermal cures, the covered market is famous and fabulous, as is Aquensis, the superb spa centre with a Viking theme. There is also a casino, a wide variety of shops, restaurants, sporting and cultural activities. In the winter, there is skiing in several local resorts. There is an hourly shuttle, for example, running to La Mongie.
TOULOUSE – the vibrant heart of South-West France and Capital of the Occitanie region. Renowned as La Ville Rose, for its iconic terracotta brick buildings, Toulouse offers a rich blend of history, culture and modern charm, a thriving aerospace industry and world-renowned reputation for cuisine and rugby! It is a perfect arrival/departure point in the region via Blagnac International Airport and the centre city TGV train station.
GASCONY/BIGORRE - a land of legends and a region of mountains, dramatic landscapes and rolling hills where history, gastronomy and natural beauty collide in spectacular fashion. Imagine picturesque villages, ancient castles, sunflower meadows and sprawling vineyards, all set against the majestic backdrop of the Pyrenees. The plethora of festivals include the world-renowned Jazz in Marciac. It is the heart of French rugby and all things equestrian. Cycling (Tour de France) hiking, climbing, golfing and skiing/winter sports make it a year-round destination. Its proximity to Spain, the Atlantic and Mediterranean coasts, along with a rich agricultural and culinary heritage (think porc noir, magret de canard, foie gras, haricot Tarbais, armagnac, the wines of St Mont, Jurançon and Madiran...) make it an absolute delight to explore.
