The Cabo de Gata Natural Park is a beach and nature lovers paradise. It contains some 63 km of protected coastline full of sandy bays surrounded by sand dunes and volcanic rock. There is a huge diversity of marine life and the nature park’s waters are considered to be some of the richest of the Spanish Mediterranean coast.

Outside of the few villages in Cabo de Gata, the beaches are undeveloped and virgin. With so many beaches and coves it would be impossible to list them all. But here is a list of the best beaches in Cabo de Gata followed by a comprehensive list of beaches in the park.

Schedule:

August 2023: Marketing of preference commitment agreements in housing choice. What is being carried out is to offer a pre-reservation of housing choice preference commitment (in strict order of formalization of these), as of today there are 20 commitments signed in  the past 17 days (in total there are 96 houses), so the next one to be signed will have the preference order 21 . This agreement is formalized with the delivery of 2000 euros, and its signing also entails the right to acquire the home, (if the client so wishes at the time they are required to formalize the deposit contract), at the price they are offered today.

November-December 2023: Following the order in which  have been signed, clients who have formalized the pre-reservation will be asked to choose the home in which they are interested, and proceed to sign the deposit contract. This is €6,600 ,including VAT (subtracting from this amount the €2,000 already delivered in the pre-reservation). At this time, if a client desists from continuing with the right that he had acquired by signing the preference commitment, and does not want to continue, the amount given to formalize the pre-reservation would be returned. At this time  urbanization works will commence.


Approx. Mid-2024: the signing of private purchase and sale contracts will start  for those clients who have previously formalized the deposit contract. 10% of the total amount of the sale will be delivered, subtracting the 6,600 euros already paid. A monthly payment schedule will be established from the signing of the contract until the date of signing at the notary, to formalize the delivery of the other 10% of the total amount.


End of 2024: Start of building works.


Fourth quarter of 2026: Completion of the works. Delevery of homes to clients. Payment of the remaining 80% takes place at the signing of the deed of sale at the notary.
