The classic gate opens smoothly and soundlessly. The driveway with centuries old beech looks inviting. Together with rhododendrons and hydrangeas, a green decor unfolds. You'll feel straight away: who goes through this gate enters a special place. An oasis of calm and space. Welcome to Mariahoeve Estate.
The driveway leads to the main building in the heart of the estate. Built in 1913 during the golden years of the Dutch textile industry. The design of the Amsterdam architect H. Warners is known, among other things, because of his work for the Dutch Petroleum Society (NAM). The hand of the master is clearly visible in symmetry: the house is perfectly positioned relative to the north-south line. And that means: optimal light, from sunrise to sunset.
Equipped with all the comforts
Appearance counts. This is a country house with character. A house with a story, with a story that reads like an exciting book. But do not mistake: in the past lies the future. The complete estate has been modernized and equipped with all comforts. And that means: high tech life in a historical sensation.
A home can only be home if privacy is insured. There are no neighboring neighbors and the estate is flanked by roads and a river. Privacy is never at issue here.
The estate Mariahoeve is hidden in the greenery, yet the wide world is close. Burgundy is a stone's throw away in Oisterwijk. In addition, Mariahoeve is central between the cities of Tilburg (11 km.), 'S-Hertogenbosch (23 km.) And Eindhoven (31 km.). The German Ruhr Area is reachable within 1.5 hours and Eindhoven Airport is only 15 minutes drive! Have we already said that the location is absolutely ideal?
Classical English style
Mariahoeve is designed in English style. In the course of the twentieth century it has been restored several times, but always with an eye for the past. For example, all plumbing works in copper, the paneling is in line with the house and there are still many original stained glass windows available. The 16th century chimney has also passed the tide of time. An authentic window on the past.
Atmosphere: Great and cozy
Architect Warners always designed to pay attention to the living experience: everything was designed to make you feel comfortable. The symmetry is an example of this, but this also applies to the dimensions of spaces: big but never too big. Each room has a warm look and gives a sense of freedom. Almost cozy, while the spaces are really not small. Like no-one else, Warners knew how to combine 'cozy' and 'big'. That combination is straightforwardly unique.
Main building (ground floor)
A royal bordes welcomes the visitor. The double doors provide access to a vestibule and a spacious lobby. There are several living functions together:
• Living room (40 m²) with fireplace, also offers access to a covered terrace (20 m²).
• Music room (32 m²) with adjoining library.
• Dining room (33 m²) with oak parquet flooring.
• Garden room (19 m²) with double door to garden.
• Staff room (6 m²) with fitted wardrobes.
• Kitchen and sink (30 m²) including pharmacy cabinets and authentic chimney with modern suction equipment.
Main building (first floor)
The first floor is reached through the monumental hardwood staircase. The spacious hall (20 m²) unlocks five bedrooms. There are two luxury bathrooms on this floor, including one in the master bedroom (30 m²). All bedrooms have fitted wardrobes and there are original linen cabinets in the hallway.
Main building (second floor)
A central hallway offers access to a fitness room (approximately 24 m²), a laundry room (approximately 22 m²) and two giant attic rooms with closets (2 x 60 m²).
Main building (basement)
There is a spacious commissioner with fixed banks. The wine cellar is decorated in niches and originally painted. From the outside, the stove (16 m²) is accessible, where boilers, a water softener and an innovative humidification system are placed.
High finish level
Mariahoeve estate is in excellent condition. The restorations have been completed and architectural, Mariahoeve meets all modern requirements. Mariahoeve also has its own connection to the electricity grid, a water source and an UTP network. In all areas there are pipes, so that living functions can be easily exchanged. What your living needs are: Mariahoeve offers endless possibilities.
Two access roads
Mariahoeve estate has two access roads. The main gate provides access to the main building, while a second gate leads to the coach house. The second gate is not visible from the road, which makes a subtle entrance possible. This privacy-friendly driveway ends in the parking garage under the coach house.
Coach house with parking lot
Built in 2005 but apparently decades old: the coach house fits seamlessly with the main building. On the ground floor there are mountain areas, two double garages and a car wash for cars. On the first floor there are two exclusive office spaces (100 m²).
The biggest surprise of the coach house is, however, underground: the parking lot is 380 m² in size and offers effortless space for 14 cars. A fully automatic steel harmonics door provides easy access.
About 60 meters from the main building is the guesthouse. On the ground floor there is a full-bodied workshop (approx. 23 m²) and a storage space (about 50 m²). On the first floor there is a living room (approx. 55 m²) with luxury bathroom, pantry and fitted wardrobes. Here, your guests are missing nothing.
Mariahoeve's security features are of the highest level. There are three automatic ports with intercom, one with fully automatic detection system. In addition, there is a closed camera surveillance system and has all doors access control (with unauthorized routing).
