This amazing villa on Coral Estate was built under architectural minimalistic modern European design. This house has incredible views from all angles upon the sea, the surrounding landscape and also of the house itself. High end, durable materials have been used for construction and finish. Hard wood shutter doors and glass, beautiful marbled concrete flooring, heavy hinges and locks, use of eclectic ceramics and in the bathrooms ,a design kitchen, hardwood terraces all around the house. The villa feels not too small and not too big; it feels like a ‘home’.
This villa has the dynamic of a boat - the length of the house from the back terrace till the end of the pool is > 30 meters. You get the sense of being on the deck of a boat when you are in front of the house. The ceiling with its special shape really separates the central part from the wings and maximizes the boat effect.
At level 0, next to the black infinity pool, the villa has a guesthouse with its own bathroom. There’s a separate toilet and an outdoor shower. The black pool is relatively small but perfect for kids playing or adults enjoying and spending some time looking at the ocean or chatting with friends at the bar of the downstairs kitchen. There is also a fantastic downstairs kitchen which is ideal for parties and cooking larger meals when you are entertaining at the pool terrace. At both sides under the pool there is ample storage space.
On level 1 you find the living room with an open plan kitchen completely equipped, Italian design kitchen with breakfast bar. The kitchen is an architectural part of the house and a connection between the mezzanine, the terrace to the rooms and both seating areas. From the kitchen you have a full view on the sea through the side windows. The tv area connects the front and the back part of the house. Also on level 1 there are the royal master bedroom with a generous bathroom and a walkin closet. Two smaller bedrooms with 2 bathrooms, a separate guest toilet, and pantry and a large utility room. All bedrooms on this level, as well as the kitchen and the living room are connected through the terrace that wraps around the whole first level at the front of the house. When the doors are completely opened the terraces are all connected.
Management of the sunlight throughout the whole day takes an extremely important part in the overall ambiance and temperature of the house. All the glass doors are at the side of the house where you have morning sun. Sunlight does not enter directly in the house; this allows the house to have beautiful natural light but no heat of the sun. In the afternoon the sunlight is stopped by the right wall apart of the pool area and the terrace upstairs. At night, lights in the ceiling in the living room and the mezzanine give a superbe indoor ambiance.
All deck terraces are prepared for real use in the future to extend the living experience and give you an incredible 360 view on the Jan Kok flamingo lac and as well as the sea. It’s also a great place for a late afternoon chill or stargazing at night.
A lot of thought and attention has been given to the wind management in the house. Throughout the whole house the wind is managed with the opening of the wooden windows in case the house is closed. The house is never hot inside; even in the hottest weeks there’s always a little bit of breeze which gives a natural coolness.
The window design on the left side is the signature of the house.
There is enough room to create a pool on the second level at the back of the house and also to create a terrace at the top of the ridge behind the house so you can see the Jan Kok lac.
The house has a very high level alarm system (all the windows and doors have a system which is declenching the alarm if needed) + volumetric, as well a mutli camera system has been designed to check the house 360 degrees and of course check the path and the swimming pool.
There is ample parking space both in front and in the back of the house.
